The BMW M-Festival

 

The Gig

Working with the all-star teams at 7 Communications and BMW Canada, FRC was tasked with developing the music program for the first North American BMW M-Fest. Inspired by the diverse consumer fan base and  high-performance of the M Series vehicles, FRC curated a line-up that got fans musical engines revving (get it?) and brought enough energy to match the output of the cars on the track. The roster of artists included local DJ’s from the Toronto scene, as well as more inter/nationally known acts such as Jane’s Party, Dear Rouge, Felix Cartal and Serena Ryder. Working closely with our production partner Hicks Management, we built a stage to suit the brand complete with blue, red and white LED light bars (brand colours) and flanked by two BMW M Series SUVs that - thanks to a few well-placed smoke machines - appeared to be peeling out all show long.
