The Gig

Leading up to cannabis legalization in 2018, San Rafael ‘71 was looking to be first-to-market and introduce their brand - rooted in the Spirit of the 70’s - to cannabis fans across the country. FRC secured the iconic Opera House in downtown Toronto, booked Bob Marley and Allman Bros. tribute bands, partnered with local vinyl store Dead Dog Records to sell 70’s vinyl at the show, set up a “Hot Box” photo booth and bought a 1973 VW Westfalia van wrapped in the San Raf brand and parked it in front of the venue… NOT for hot boxing...
